In the March 25th South Coast Telecommunications Alliance (SCTA) Adult Ed meeting, Dana G. Simmons, Vice President/Sales, Internet Strategies Group, Cyber Dialogue Inc. will talk about "1999: The Year Ahead in Cyberspace." The public is invited to the free Adult Ed SCTA meeting which will be held at 7:30 pm the SBCC Adult Education Schott Center located at the corner of Bath and West Padre Street in Santa Barbara.

Dana G. Simmons has been a popular past speaker at SCTA, describing interesting market trends in Internet use, business connectivity, and electronic commerce. This month, for a change of pace, Dana will discuss his recent predictions for 1999 addressing a range of topics including cyberspace shopping, Internet "portals," destination shopping, online entertainment, families online, TV based web use, and online health. Dana has an inviting relaxed style and welcomes a dialogue with his audience. Following Dana’s presentation time will be reserved for a group networking session.

Dana G. Simmons has 30 years experience in marketing and sales of emerging technology products in rapidly changing market places. He is Vice President, Sales with the Internet strategies Group of Cyber Dialogue, Inc. Dana works closely with Cyber Dialogue clients and researchers to identify new research topics to more accurately measure the impact of emerging technologies on consumer demand for new information products and services. Dana was previously Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Claritas, a pioneer in supplying demographic data and cluster systems to marketing researchers and President of Geographic Data Technology, a company that in 1984 introduced cost effective cartographic street files for the GIS industry.
