Hand written in blue ink on 8.5 by 11 inch paper. In envelope postmarked May 10, 1935 in Harvey N. Dak. Addressed to Miss Elma Bergerud (sic), Heimdal, No. Dak. No return address. Paragraphs preserved.  Supplied by Russ Hornabcher to Dan VanArsdale. Note text on back of letter. Was 35-05n4$.

This is one of eight chain letters sent in 1935 to Miss Elma Bergrud, Heimdal, North Dakota. Six were Send-a-dime money chain letters and two were quilt patch exchange chain letters. This "Bergrud hoard" was supplied to D. VanArsdale by Russ Hornbacher, Fessenden, North Dakota.  These letters are designated by "br" immediately after the date in the archive file name.
