Recommendations of the Traffic Safety Committee
I. Background:
The following action by the Traffic Safety Committee was initiated by a citizen request.
II. Critical Issues:
At the last Traffic Safety meeting, the Committee made the following recommendation for City Council consideration and approval:
1) A 20’ green curb at 5427 Carpinteria Avenue.

Both the property owner at 5427 Carpinteria Avenue and the Post Office support this change.

None.

None.

None.

Recommendation:
Staff recommends option #1.
RESOLUTION NO. 4414
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARPINTERIA
APPROVING THE ACTIONS OF THE
OCTOBER 2, 1997 TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has made the following recommendation for City Council consideration and approval:
1) A 20’ green curb at 5427 Carpinteria Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CARPINTERIA CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES that the following Traffic Safety Committee recommendation shall be approved for action:
1) A 20’ green curb at 5427 Carpinteria Avenue.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of October, 1997 by the following called votes:
