I have been crafting user-friendly publications for networking,
graphics and other software applications since 1988. My three
years experience in software technical support gave me a clear
understanding of the frustrations software users experience with
poorly written documentation. The lessons I learned here helped
me develop a writing style that is lean, active and to-the-point.
