T H E B Y R O N B E R L I N E B A N D
St. Mark's In The Valley

Los Olivos, California
8:00 PM on Thursday, march 17th at 8 PM.
Former Blue Grass Boy Byron Berline, co-composer of the great bluegrass standard "The Gold Rush" and many other wonderful fiddle tunes, will be visiting us in California with his band straight from Guthrie Oklahoma. Originally from the Kansas-Oklahoma border area, Byron lived for many years in the LA area, fronting great bands such as the Flying Burrito Brothers and the LA Fiddle Band, and the continuing super-bluegrass group California. Byron has recorded with dozens of country, bluegrass, and even rock musicians (including the Rolling Stones, EmmyLou Harris, Vince Gill, etc.). He is one of my very favorite fiddle players - ever, and this rare California appearance is well worth catching.
