Featuring a selection of mainly-classical show violin pieces, it's really nice! Gilles calls it "No Piano On That One" because it is mainly a selection of pieces usually performed with violin and piano. Gilles has substituted the piano with a wide variety of instruments, such as the Roumanian cymbalom, accordian, contrabass, harp, and string orchestra. For a couple of sample tunes and more info, check it out at: http://www.bluegrasswest.com/nopiano2.htm PS - Gilles called us from Brittany, where he is currently performing with an orchestra, plus adapting Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" for his new band as heard on the CD. That's it for now. Thanks for your interest and support. Please tell your friends about the shows. If you knwon someone who would like to receives this newsletter, let us know at peterf@silcom.com Best wishes, __Peter Feldmann for Blue Grass West! |
