NWS Weather Station Installation Requirements
Weather Station Location Sites:
Must have access to 120-volt power and a 9-volt alkaline battery that is used for the backup power supply.
Computer Requirements:
Requires a Computer Running Windows 3.1, 95/98, or NT 4.0
Minimum of 5 MB Free Hard Disk Space
4 MB RAM
1 Free Serial Port
Software & Other Communication Options:
WeatherLink for Wizard / Windows $149.00 (+/-)
Virtual Weather Station Internet Edition CD $104.95
Runs on all Windows 32-bit operating systems, including 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP
Note: Computer must be running on a continuous basis for data to upload the weather station information into the web nets.
