Did you know what a good cook Bob was? The Gaviota fire station is remote from grocery stores which requires the crews to come prepared to make their own meals. Each firefighter takes turns cooking and everyone always looked forward to Bob's cooking. Bob can be seen above giving a thumbs up to my wife's homemade chili.

Bob can be seen on the right side of the ambulance gurney.

Engine 18 can be seen in the background behind a CHP Patrol Car.

Bob's helmet has a 41 on the sides.

Working vehicle accidents was just another part of Bob's job as a Fire Engineer.
