Greetings unto the populace!!

As you know, we are going into the summer season. Some of our members wiil be traveling homeward. For the most part, however, we should have a stronger presence this summer than in the past few summers. However, it is not enough. We need to get more people involved.

This summer, we will be doing several demos. Our first demo was the Medieval Mayfaire. We gave out over 100 flyers and had several people give us names and phone numbers. Our next demo will be the Irish Festival, on June 2. Kachigatai Chikara will be in charge of that as I will be attending the Chatelaine class down in Darachshire. After that we have the French Festival on July 13-14.

Currently, my goals for the office, which I hope to get completed over the summer include: creating a newcomer's packet containing our flyer, a bit of information about the SCA, the Kingdom flyer, as well as a list of frequently asked questions, and other information that all newcomers should know; getting demos set up at various bookstores around the city; the festivals; possibly some school demos come fall; and for the fall, involvement on both the City College campus and the UCSB campus.

I would like to thank Chikara for his work in getting us club status at City College. This should be a great summer and year.
