Allow me to apologize first, for the delay in getting out this issue of the Uncharted Waters. The month, as we all know, has been long, and very full of activities, both mundane and society. I intend to be more prompt about getting the UW out on time. For this endeavor, I need your help.

The one thing that keeps the UW from being printed on time is late submissions, as well as few submissions, leaving me to find filler material. So, as of now, I ACCEPT NO LATE SUBMISSIONS. The submissions for the August/Sept issue are due by the 2nd business meeting in June.

On that note, we need people to write articles and give artwork. For those who say they cannot write, well, give it a try. I am more than willing to help you. Just write about something you know...a recipe, how to make a bodice dress... anything period. This is a shire newsletter, so let's get some of our lords and ladies in print.

Finally, if you are interested in helping with the newsletter, let me know. We can have a UW layout party, a lick n' stick, or whatever.
